2011 was the year of The Killabits. The Toronto-based dubstep duo (Sam KBz and Biz Davis) released their debut EP on L.A.’s Play Me Records, toured furiously coast to coast, and remixed everything that wasn’t nailed down. They’re renowned locally for having created, in partnership with Zeds Dead, the weekly dubstep showcase Bassmentality, which has played host to such talents as Nero, Skrillex and Doctor P. This brand new edition of Live Sessions Canada captures The Killabits at the climax of this year’s “Hard Feelings” tour, playing to a wildly supportive hometown crowd at Toronto’s The Mod Club.
